Hi I'm in wr4 9db and a similar cat comes round to eat

I have a picture of the cat that called this morning but I can't add it here

He came back very hungry and limping badly. The vet said that he had been bitten by something, maybe a fox. We kept him in for a few days but he seems ok now but is not overly keen to stay outside much.
