I'm sad to report that Charlie was found dead in what his owner believes to be an air gun attack. I just had a call from Charlie's owner (who is completely distraught) to say that he was found in an overgrown garden by a chap doing a house clearance. He was missing for over 5 weeks. The garden backs on to a park where Charlie had previously been shot with an airgun but had suffered only minor injuries. Charlie's neighbour's cat had also been shot there and lost his leg. It's likely that someone living on the edge of the park is shooting cats for fun.Charlie's owner is very frustrated with the local police who do not seem interested in this matter. They are even considering selling their house and moving away as they fear for the safety of any pets that they may have in the future. This report is sadly now closed.
