That was a male Springer Spaniel not Daisy. Where else should I post this? Help. Still haven't got any news. I think someone might have her. Should I report it to the police?

I am so, so sorry to see there is no news of Daisy yet. Yes, you should absolutely report it to the police!I will keep looking and I'm sure many others will too; I only hope someone nice is looking after her till they find you.Ali

It is worth reporting it. the police will not actively look for a lost dog, but will at least record it so that they will have your contact details. Plus, they will be interested if they think she may have been stolen rather than running off. Sadly, lots of dogs are stolen, though hopefully not Daisy. Also phone Cherwell Council Dog Warden on 01295 221633 (though I've looked on their website and no joy at moment. But apparently they only keep found dogs for 7 days then try to re-home them! so it's worth checking with them).You might also want to contact other organisations/websites, e.g. doglost.co.uk, animalsearch.co.uk; maybe phone nearby sanctuaries and if possible, put up a few posters.
