It's not like her to stay out for longer than a day nevermind almost 4 days you shout her name outside and she comes running, she never goes too far from home and loved us to bits. I forgot to mention in the report but she has the bullseye tabby pattern not fishbone she has big brown O's on either side of her belly. She is a very timid cat unknown around other people so I have just selected nervous because I don't imagine her letting other people pick her up. if seen please contact me and the area last seen. Thank you.

It happened on the exact same day and I'm confused how none of us saw her. She was struck by a speeding van whilst she was crossing the road leading us to believe it was done on purpose this was all witnessed by a neighbour on the end of the road, tilly crawled onto the pavement where tilly was comforted by what was believed to be her black cat friend/lover called Elmo. The neighbour who witnessed it doesn't speak English very well but she told the other people in the house what had happened and nobody went out to check on her, take her to the vets or knock around to see if they knew the cat. Tilly was later found by the council who also didn't take her to the vet or ask around they stuck her in a bag and took her. We found this all out from the witnesses daughter who does speak English and a person down the road who saw her on the pavement went out shopping and came home to her not being there after she got taken by the council in a plastic bag. Tilly was a lovely cat loved headbutts and we got her from Millhill pet shop not far away who was screaming at the glass window to get out she was being sold for 50 quid but we like to think of it as a rescue. She only lived half of her life but she brought alot of life into this world with a total of 5 litters she had one every year and she had only just been recently spayed we currently have 2 of her sons and her other kids are out and about in the same neighbour hood. We are going to ring the council in the morning 22nd of May to see if we can get her back and give her a proper goodbye and burial. We will also have a word about the road itself as this isn't the first time this has happened, you hear cars bombing it up and down this road all the time and a speed bump or two or a speed camera would be perfect. Some details are of this time still unconfirmed, the cat that the neighbour saw could very well not have been tilly all we know is that is was a tabby cat. Another unconfirmed thing is that it could of been the council or the van that hit her that took her in a plastic bag and they could of taken her to the vets but it all seems to convenient and very unlikely. Rest in peace Tilly Moon 2018 - 2023.
