Stolen dog: Cream Saluki dog called Joe - Burford area, Oxfordshire

Went missing:	12 years ago (01 October 2011 at around 13:00hrs)
Location:	The Blue Cross, Shilton Rd, Burford, Oxfordshire OX18 4, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	17 years old
Sex:	Male
Collar:	Brown leather
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	Not a pure Saluki but Saluki / Lurcher cross. He has brown flecks on his ears and his tail is longer than usual. Joe also has quite a distinctive scar by his ribs, approx 4 inches long.
Circumstances:	Reported via Thames Valley Police. This dog was taken from the kennels at the Blue Cross in Burford. A male was seen to lead a lurcher type dog from the kennel before he was noticed as missing.

I assume there will be some CCTV footage of the person stealing the dog(?)If that's the case then can a link be posted on this site? I've checked this out before and it doesn't contravene any laws.Also a bit poor that it's took 4 days for this to be posted on this site by Police or Blue Cross, well after the trail is cold.

Excellent Nick. Great news.Do we have any further info though?Culprits caught?Prosecutions imminent?Or is this a case of the people who robbed/abused the dog once again leaving abandoned?I hope the lesson has been learnt to report cases early as several days were lost with this one before it turned up on your excellent site.
