I'm updating the description of this bird as I saw a recent group Facebook post on the Longbenton And Surrounding Area Community Page they have removed their posts and come off the site. I've reported this also to Northumbria police and the RSPCA also. finders of this bird are claiming he's an aviary bird ,terrified of humans yet in less than a week he's been responding to her training stepping up going in to a cage when she says bedtime with her other 2 cockatiels I find this too far fetched he's nit been an aviary bird but that is what she's telling people. This burd should have gone to parrot care /parrot rescue on Newcastle-upon-Tyne who have had a lot of enquiries about missing birds and they assist people if any have been handed in it would have been checked by a vet and placed in a safe house until its rightful owners were found the chance of finding them would have been greater. This people I think want to keep this bird as when people are enquiring about it they are getting put off then blocked 🚫 such a shame they travelled a great distance from outside their area to rescue this little bird but have failed to report it on any lost and found pet sitesvwhich they claimed they would do this locally and nationally every instinct tells me these people are not going to give this bird back 😒.
