FOUND
Unknown
Name: Unknown
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Black and white
SimpleColour:
Found: 5 years ago
(13 July 2018 at around 08:00hrs)
Location: Peacock Road, Oxford OX3 0DQ, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 7 years old (approx)
Sex: Male
Collar: Dark blue
Microchipped: No
Markings: Black 'mask' over his eyes and very distinctive black spot on the left side of his muzzle (his left as looking from behind him - so right hand side a you look at him)
Circumstances: He has been visiting our garden regularly for about three months, but for the last three weeks or so he has taken up residence in our back garden, so he obviously lives locally and had decided he'd like to live with us! We think he's been sneaking in and eating our cat's food during the hot weather when the back door was open.
Other info: He's been visiting our garden for about three months as if he lives nearby, but for the last few weeks he has taken up residence, so we think he lives nearby or his family may be on holiday. He's been sleeping and living in our garden for about three weeks.

My guess is that students have abandoned him and gone home for the summer. It happens a lot! He looks adorable. Please keep him. I would but my cat is getting old and is very nervous. I have rescued 4 cats abandoned in the area. I don't understand why there are so many lost cats - what is happening?

The cat left our garden and has only been appearing intermittently, after having been in our garden pretty much without leaving for a week. We think his owners may have been on holiday and have now come home, but we'll keep an eye out for him to make sure he's OK.
