FOUND
Name: Unknown
Breed & Species: Siberian Husky dog
Colour: Brown/white
Found: 7 years ago
(15 October 2016 at around 20:00hrs)
Location: Eastern By-Pass Road, Littlemore, Oxford, UK
Health: Injured or unwell
Age: 8 years old
Sex: Unknown
Collar: I don't know if he was earring a collar
Microchipped: Not sure
Circumstances: On the Oxford ring road
Other info: I'm sorry to say I was unable to rescue a beautiful young busy dog I was near the Oxford ring road turn to south of the car factory near the Sandy Lane turn off last night at about 10.30pm (15/10/16). It had been hot by the time I manage to stop and run to help. Two young men stopped to help me, and we tried to stop the traffic but one car refused to stop and ran him over. He was still alive just about when the men put him in their car, I think they were taking him to the RSPCA but given what happened I think he will not have survived. I'm very sorry we did out best to save him.

HelloThe owners were informed, the same evening I think. I guess through his collar or chip. I found them on Oxford Doglost on Facebook. Fortunately a young female pup that also escaped with him was found probably soon before the accident, and returned to her owners, who are devastated about Luca, the older male.
