Shared on and off social media sites The following may help... Put her used litter tray/favourite bed/toy (&/or contents of your vaccum) outside, they can smell it for miles & help them find their way home - your dirty laundry on the line - the smellier the socks the better!! Go out looking late at night & early morning - your voices (& theirs) will travel further. Knock on neighbours doors & ask them to let you look in garages/sheds as they'll be scared & may hide from the stranger but cry out to you. Also, where are their safe places - where they go in your house? Use those to help you think like that, do they hide in dark & low or up high? Get low under bushes, decking etc, get ladders & explore places that can be climbed Make a flyer & post it thru letter boxes Contact all the local Vets & rescues with the flyer (update them when found). https://www.bluecross.org.uk/advice/cat/what-to-do-if-your-cat-is-lost

Saw cat looking rather like this in Wellington Place off St Giles this afternoon. Couldn't get close enough to check markings and not sure where it disappeared to but didn't go straight out into St Giles. Might be worth searching in this area if not found.

Thanks Emily! I will take a look around there.

Have seen a second time now and this time it may have gone under the gate into St Giles - it's adept at disappearing. It's not so easy to search here but gardens of Quaker meeting house and Rewley House are very much part of the area, anyway feel free to come up Wellington Place and maybe if it is Lola she will respond to your voice.re

Thanks, Emily. I came up and called, then walked in a spiral around WS. I will come again when it's quieter, and not so hot, and with some food that I can shake.

YOu do realise I mean Wellington *Place* (off St Giles) not Wellington Square? JUst by the Eagle and Child.

Is there a private message function on this website? Would be more convenient.

I have been down WP, although the first time I went I didn't realise that you could actually go down it; then went in a spiral around Pusey, the back by Regent's, up St John Street, etc. It's very pretty down there!

I tweeted this today and someone has responded with a photo asking could this be Lola? - seen at an Oxford college. If you are on Twitter check @MericSevgiEren

Thanks Marina. Unfortunately the St Peter's Lodge put the cat back into the street; but I appreciate your drawing my attention and I'll go over to see if she is still in the area.

And she is back now, from St Peter's! Thanks so much for your help, Marina.

Thanks to the lovely people who read PetsReunited, and the even lovelier people at St Peter's College, Lola was located and the posters/phone number for this site helped get her back to me.
