Hi, sorry I haven't seen Alfie but just wanted to let you know that my 10 month old kitten disappeared for 4 days which was very unlike her. She is always around and always comes when called. However she disappeared and then reappeared 4 days later. She was very thin, very hungry and craving attention but unharmed. I had been around my local neighbours and delivered forty flyers with her details on during the third evening and she came back in the early hours of the following morning. I do wonder if she was trapped in somewhere and someone had found her. I was really convinced we had lost her although the fact that we couldn't find her body gave us some hope. We were thrilled when she came back. I really hope Alfie comes home, don't give up hope.

You absolutely should post flyers, attach flyers to lamp-posts, call all local Vets, RSPCA, Cats Protection, Blue Cross, Oxford County Council Highways (god forbid though). Despite the collar a microchip is an absolute must. Neutering any cat, particularly a male is vital as should any female cats be on "heat" in the area I can promise you he'll pick up on this scent and wander-not necessarily far, perhaps just a garden or two away in search of that female and little else will be on his mind. I've had 3 cats for over a 26 year period...you will find him...x

We have security lights in our drive. And obv they come on with movement. And then there was a loud miaow and Alfie comes flying through the flap. He smells alittle and bit skinny. But hes totally fine
